Is there a booking minimum?
For Power Pony Studios to style onsite, the client has to book for the bride plus 3 attendants or 4 services.
Is there a booking maximum?
Power Pony Studios has a team of multiple hair and makeup artists to take care of parties of all sizes.
How do I book Power Pony Studios?
To reserve Power Pony Studios, all clients must pay a retainer and sign the contract.
how do i prep my hair?
- wash/dry your hair the night before
- if you have silky hair, skip conditioner
- do not overload on products (a mousse after washing is good)
- do not experiment with any new products you haven't used before
- do not wear your hair in a ponytail/bun (this leaves a crease)
- and don't forget any hair accessories!
what if i am unable to do a trial?
Trials are an important part of your wedding look. Think of it as a preview before the big day! I understand that location and scheduling can sometimes prevent our clients from doing a trial. However, trials are included in the cost of your bridal styling package. If you are unable to schedule a trial, you will receive extra time with your stylist on the wedding day. This will give you a chance to make any alterations to your look.
how does the travel fee work?
A travel fee will be added to your invoice if your location is 20 miles and/or an hour away from my studio. Our pricing is $0.65 per mile to and from the location. This is the standard mileage rate according to the IRS.
If your location is more than 2 hours away, I/my team will require overnight accommodations. This is determined on a case by case basis.
can you apply extensions?
Yes! I also offer clip-in or halo extensions to purchase.
Can you help choose a hairstyle?
Absolutely! I can recommend styles that would complement your dress and vision as well as styles that I think would work best with your hair type, texture, length, etc.
are false lashes included?
All adult makeup applications include false lashes. All bridal makeup applications also receive a touch-up kit which includes: Lip color, lip applicator, loose powder, and makeup sponge.
